Silicon Valley Healing Rooms Anchored Hope
Where do we get more hope? When hope levels get low, we need to go digging and find some. But where? How do we access hope?
Hope feels elusive when we need it most. I can wish someone would get healed. I can hope that one day my dream will come true. I can hope my family members have a nice day. But these kinds of hopeful desires feel like wishing upon a star.
The difference between hope and faith is hoping in something God also wants for our lives. 1 Timothy 2:4 says, “[God] desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” So we can pray with confidence for someone to be saved, and for someone will come to the knowledge of truth—in God’s way and in God’s timing. God also wants people to pray everywhere, without doubt (see 1 Timothy 2:8). We can pray that people will desire to pray to God. These things are specifically named. God wants their safety and protection, although it helps to research the context of scripture for God’s heart. “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26).
If God has promised us something in particular, then we can count on it. However, we often need to call what God has said into existence after He tells us. If He promises someone a new job, they still have to look for it, research the position, apply, and interview. It may not be the first job reached for. Keep going. It will come to pass.
He promises to be with us through everything. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
Meanwhile, we access His love. This gets poured into our hearts daily by the Holy Spirit. It is the combination of hope with His love that creates an anchor of hope. “Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit” (Romans 5:5). When we add the love of God to a shared hope with God, we move from unbearable to unbreakable.
God Answers Prayer
Since our last Healing Rooms Open Hours:
One lady’s stress went from a 7 to a 2. She felt her prayer team members were empathetic and spoke truth. God reminded her that He is always with her and that He is her anchor and hope. She has been trying to use scripture to combat the enemy’s thoughts that try to invade her mind.
One lady’s stress went from a 10 to a 4. She felt instant relief. She received a word from God about a topic she wasn’t focused on. It made sense to her and brought comfort.
One visitor came with physical symptoms as well as some major life issues unfolding in his world. The team received picture images in advance of the appointment, which they shared. The team prayed for everything mentioned. There was no way to test immediately if the erratic symptoms had gone or not. We encourage people to stay in agreement with the prayers over a period of time. We also encourage people to look for confirmations and signs of improvement. It is common to need to contend in prayer for our victories. This is often a time where faith is tested and people must choose to walk forward believing that God is at work as they receive their answers. We invite people to come back to receive more words from God and prayer from different team members.
The teams prayed for job interviews, finding housing, court cases, finding destiny, insomnia, dizziness, depression, back pain, knee pain, decisions about work, a healthy pregnancy, throat issues, parent-children relationships, high school students applying to college, trauma relief from recent and long ago events, cancer cells to go, chemotherapy side effects to diminish, breaking curses, marriage challenges, mental stability and well-being, caring for elderly parents, financial miracles, physical hearing issues, and prodigal children.
Scheduling An Appointment
Together, Silicon Valley Healing Rooms Prayer Ministers are ready to take your prayer requests to God in prayer. They also seek God’s word for you in advance of the appointment.
We are now taking signups for prayer appointments for Tuesday September 19, 2023.
To sign up for an appointment, there are TWO STEPS:
1. Let us know your TOP THREE APPOINTMENT TIME PREFERENCES, in order of priority.
We will coordinate the teams, and send the zoom information on Monday for the appointment on Tuesday.
2. Share a phone number so we can TEXT you with scheduling changes.
In the event that we are not able to offer you the time frames you desire, you may share a phone number with us to text you if an opening should arise when someone needs to cancel an appointment. This happens from time to time, and we are able to text you to see if you are available to join an available prayer team. All information is confidential to the ministry and is not used for solicitation. This step is optional.
