Scriptural Touchstone Shifting the Atmosphere
A new variation of COVID seems to be going around this summer. The symptoms are no fun, but people are not flocking to the hospitals. While at home, it is possible to shift the atmosphere to one of expectant hope in God’s ability to heal. Here are some simple steps to follow that work for all kinds of physical ailments:

1. Praise God out loud
We are called to praise God at all times (not just the good times). Praise focuses on the characteristics of God that are worthy to be praised. He is good, kind, generous, forgiving, holy, just, and gracious. See James 1:2, 1 Thesalonians 5:16-19, Psalm 42:11.

2. Sing and Worship
Fill the atmosphere in your home with sounds of praise and worship. You can sing yourself, hum a tune, and play worship songs from the radio or internet. Some great songs to play are “Heaven Comes to Fight for Me,” “There’s Nothing That Our God Can’t Do,” “This is How I Fight My Battles,” and many more of your favorites. Ephesians 5: 19-20.

3. Watch Your Self-Talk
Feeling low can cause us to say discouraging or negative things. Even phrases that seem true when we’re ill need to be carefully edited – by us! We might be tempted to say, “I’ll never get my energy back,” or “Our house always gets what’s going around.” The truth is, “Jesus took all my diseases when he died,” and “God is restoring my body at all times.” James 3:5-6.

4. Create an Atmosphere of Belief and Awe
God can do all things – even if it seems impossible to us. Jesus reminded people, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Focusing on God creates a sense of awe. It is in this sense of awe and wonder of God that miracles happen. See Acts 2:43, Mark 5:21-43

Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help… (Psalm 39:12)

The prayer requests were for God to act on many issues including insomnia, hyperthyroid, chronic fatigue, bipolar depression, clarity of purpose, protection for family, PKD, kidney functionality, anxiety, fear, challenging marriages, selling property, new powered wheelchair, cancer in the lymph nodes, relationships, new business plant, a Godly spouse, business finances, high blood pressure, leg pain, and finances.

God’s Answered Prayer
One man reported that his experience was affirming and loving. He walked away encouraged and equipped to step with Jesus.

One lady reported that she was reminded of who she is in Christ and of her own authority to keep asking God for physical healing. She says she’s been doing this since the appointment and feeling better.

One lady reported that her pain got worse after her appointment. Then she remembered the teaching about speaking to the pain and commanding it to go in the authority of Jesus’ name. She did this with her own voice which had a supernatural strength. She said the pain left at that point. She went to bed and checked again in the morning and there was still no pain. This was a new level of victory!

Scheduling An Appointment

Together, Silicon Valley Healing Rooms Prayer Ministers are ready to take your prayer requests to God in prayer. They also seek God’s word for you in advance of the appointment.

This happens from time to time, and we are able to text you to see if you are available to join an available prayer team.
