Pulling out the Spring Wardrobe

Spring is here. It’s time to pull out the spring wardrobe and put the winter things away. A few sweaters may cross over into spring. Welcome the greens, oranges, yellows, and say good-bye to the blacks, grays, and browns. And time to switch out the shoes too.

Spiritually, it’s also a good time to change up what we are putting on. As the days are getting longer, we need to pull out the “long day” armor of light. (See Romans 13:12.) It’s probably a good time to spring clean our hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (See Colossians 3:12.) The Amplified version suggests the brand of patience that, “has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes with good temper.” (not available on amazon.com; must be ordered through endurance)

With spring, comes Opening Day at every baseball stadium. We need to pack our umpire shirts in the back of our car and be ready to wear them wherever and whenever. Peace is designed to create soul harmony and rule in our hearts, deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in our minds. (See Colossians 3:15, AMP.)

The most important item to pull out and put on is wrap-around love. It is time to get refueled on this by the Holy Spirit to the point of spilling over. The inside lining of this wrap around is thanksgiving. They fit together perfectly and can be worn for every occasion. (See Colossians 3:14, AMP)

Last, but not least, is the need to stock up on words from God. The bite size verses can go with you everywhere. They serve and excellent reminders of God’s goodness, grace and promises throughout the day. (See Colossians 3:15)

God Answers Prayer

The prayers requests for God to act on many issues including severe headaches, anxiety, domestic tranquility, emotional abuse, brain cancer, family members who have addiction issues, wayward adult children, negative self-talk, brain deterioration, insomnia, caregiving burdens, job search issues, job pressures, breast cancer, parental inversion, unforgiveness, an upcoming court trial, divorce, loneliness, and a desire to meet a spouse.

Scheduling An Appointment

Together, Silicon Valley Healing Rooms Prayer Ministers are ready to take your prayer requests to God in prayer. They also seek God’s word for you in advance of the appointment.

We are now taking signups for prayer appointments for Tuesday April 5, 2022.

To sign up for an appointment, there are TWO STEPS:

1.  Let us know your TOP THREE APPOINTMENT TIME PREFERENCES, in order of priority.

               We will coordinate the teams, and send the zoom information on Monday April 4, 2022, for the appointment times on Tuesday April 5, 2022.

2.  Share a phone number so we can TEXT you with scheduling changes.

                              In the event we are not able to offer you the time frames you desire, you may share a phone number with us to text you if an opening should arise when someone needs to cancel an appointment. This happens from time to time, and we will be able to text you to see if you are available to join an available prayer team. All information is confidential to the ministry and is not used for solicitation. This step is optional.
