Invitation to Pray with SVHR April 2, 2024 & Newsletter

Happy Easter – One More Conversation

When loved ones die unexpectedly, we usually review our last conversation with them. People that have arguments carry that last conversation with them for a long time, and usually wish they could have a “do-over.” Most people hope they told the person they loved them in that last conversation. Other people realize they will never get to ask that burning question they wanted an answer to.

This weekend we celebrate Easter. With Jesus’ resurrection, we get the chance to have another conversation with Him. Because He lives. Despite some religious training, we can ask the honest and difficult questions of Jesus. We can tell Him anything. We can ask Him anything. (Note: The answers may not come immediately, but there are answers.) We can share our feelings with Him. We can cry in front of Him. We can be with Jesus, in His presence, and say nothing. This can bring a solace that words can’t describe.

How is this possible?  Because Jesus lives today. Death was not the end of Jesus’ life. Prayer allows us to have conversations with Jesus. Our prayers are heard by a living Jesus. Prayer can feel like a one-sided phone call where we do all the talking. Yet, opening the Bible and reading it often provides His part of the conversation. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit…” (Hebrews 4;12). It turns out that Scripture is alive and real for us today as when it was written. Anyone who’s opened the Bible and had words that jump off the page and into their situation knows this to be true.

Answers can also come in the wisdom and counsel of others. Praying with another person can add to the conversation, especially in times when we feel like we can’t hear what’s being said through our pain or fear. Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matt 18:20).

Because He lives, we can come and pray together to hear what Jesus has to say. You are invited to set up an appointment and pray with our teams during Open Hours.

God Answers Prayer

Since our last Healing Rooms Open Hours:

A woman said her pain went from a 5 (on a scale of 1 to 10) to a 2 level. She received prayer and encouragement to grow closer to the Lord in quiet time spent with HIM. She left inspired, encouraged and comforted.

One woman said her stress went from a 10 to a 3. She said her experience was exactly what she needed. She really appreciated the words the team members got for her.

One woman said the prayers were kind and encouraging. She was grateful. The unexpected tears during the meeting brought healing.

The teams prayed for jobs, moving decisions, searching for a new church, finding destiny, back pain, sleep instead of insomnia, decisions about work/ministry, adult children relationships, trauma relief, chemotherapy side effects to diminish and energy, breaking curses, marriage challenges, mental well-being, help in caregiving, financial breakthroughs, knee issues, blood platelet irregularities, Lyme disease symptoms, and sibling relationships.

Scheduling An Appointment

Together, Silicon Valley Healing Rooms Prayer Ministers are ready to take your prayer requests to God in prayer. They also seek God’s word for you in advance of the appointment.

We are now taking signups for prayer appointments for Tuesday April 2, 2024

1.  Let us know your TOP THREE APPOINTMENT TIME PREFERENCES, in order of priority.

We will coordinate the teams, and send the zoom information on Monday for the appointment on Tuesday.

This happens from time to time, and we are able to text you to see if you are available to join an available prayer team. All information is confidential to the ministry and is not used for solicitation. This step is optional.

You are welcome to sign up for prayer appointments at the following times listed below:
