6   pm soaking, 7 pm – 9 pm open hours, finish praying by 9:45 pm

The previous time the Healing Rooms were open was the Tuesday after a three day weekend, and visitors trickled in more slowly.  It gave the Prayer Team members the rare luxury of time to pray a bit longer and in depth.  It was most appreciated by the beneficiaries.  Many sought prayer for some long term and challenging prayer requests.  God met each person with grace.

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

One woman writes, “God has been healing me from prior disappointments and making Himself known to me in a deeper relationship.  He has blessed me with miracles, breakthrough at work – blessed my son with his tuition getting paid by VA.  Being able to visit with friends, opening the creative in me by painting with friends and healings.  Got to visit family for the last 3 weeks and He provided the financial means.  Blessing after blessing, healing my broken heart.  He’s giving me new dreams and visions and purpose.”

We continue to see God give destiny to people as the team prays for people.  An individual came in seeking God’s direction.  One team member saw in advance someone heading down a road going very fast looking for a directional sign, and wondering which way to go.  Jeremiah 29:11-14a was the answer.  This proved to be very reassuring to the person receiving prayer. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.”  (NKJV)

HEALING THOUGHT

Yesterday many people watched the SuperBowl XLIX. Like any football game, quarterbacks throw mostly complete and some incomplete passes.  The game ended with a pass interception close to the End Zone for a surprise and turnaround ending to the game.

Suppose God is throwing passes to us as answers to prayer.  Some of us stand in one place and hope it comes right where we’re standing.  Other people have learned how to position themselves to see where the ball is headed and move to meet it.  The Bible says that “through faith and patience we inherit the promises.”  Hebrews 6:12.  Part of positioning to receive the promises of God is to quickly obey the voice of God and quickly obey scripture.  Disobedience puts a kink in the pipeline of answers to prayers.

1 John 3:21-22 reads, “Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”  It’s always good to check in with God and see if there’s anything out of alignment with His obedience plan that might be kinking the pipeline of answers.

INTERCESSOR NOTES

Send (by email) or text (650) 930-6843  whatever the Lord shows you in a dream, or a word or a nudge.

Last Open Hours we received this email prior to being open:  As I was praying for you all for today, I kept hearing “knees.” It was very persistent. Sounds like someone will be coming for healing for knees today and that this will be a door opening to more for this individual. What has held them back will no longer hold them. The healing of their knees is symbolic of this.

Sure enough, there was an individual that came in for prayer for their knees.  To know that someone saw this in advance amazed and bolstered his faith, even before receiving prayer.

PSTD SEMINAR

This seminar was excellent!  Mike Hutchings, with Randy Clark Ministries, walked the attendees through a 9 point prayer process of releasing the trauma from the body.  He ministers to many veterans who have PTSD.  Many more, he claims, need prayer, but have difficulty coming forward for prayer.   Nonetheless, he urged everyone listening to seek prayer in this area and be released into a fullness of joy.

The seminar went far beyond the classic identification with men and women serving in the military for our country.  He suggested that all people who go through trauma from physical or even mental abuse experience some level of trauma. Again, this mostly goes unreported because people try to “shoulder up” on their own strength.

Prayer for release from the trauma can bring great relief and healing to many different types of illnesses stemming from diagnosed and undiagnosed trauma.

There are PTSD Prayer Cards now available at all the Prayer Stations.  Please take time to read through these before praying with people.  We hope to incorporate some of the principles into the next Healing Rooms Training class.

THANK YOU TEAM
