PREP FOR FALL

The dog days of summer are here.  As we enjoy the long days and move into the last part of our summer activities, we turn toward fall and start to think about preparation. God has good things prepared and He is finalizing many good things in all of us to be in step with what He’s getting ready to do. Let us open our hearts to what He wants to do.

GOD ANSWERS PRAYER

Feedback from our last Open Hours:

One woman’s pain went from a “6” out of “10” to a “0.” She writes, “I loved my experience today! It was exciting and everything is set up so nice….The [prayer team members] are so committed to learning about me and what my issues were.  I appreciated that they could understand what I was going through because of their own experiences…God gave them insight to pray for me.  Truly awesome.  Thank you!”

Q:  How was your experience today?

“Great! The Lord touched and met me with His lovingkindness.”

“Wonderful”

Q:  What did God do for you during your time at the Healing Rooms?”

“I walked in with back pain and now I feel none! Praise God.”

“Open the door to His kingdom.  Thank you”

“Encouraged me. I am believing He has healed me.  Thank you Jesus!”

“Filled me with His word & truth”

HEALING TRUTH

In Matthew 13, Jesus explained why he spoke in parables.  His parables pointed out the “Hardened Heart Condition.”

13Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand,
And seeing you will see and not perceive;
15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should[a] heal them.’[b]”   (NKJV)

There is a cure for this condition.  Jeremiah gives the prescription (Jer. 5:24-26):

1.         Fear the LORD our God

2.         Deal with our iniquities

3.         Break the blockages from sin

4.         Turn our hearts toward God

These steps unlock our hearts to understand.  Jesus’ heart is to heal us – ALL the time! You are invited to come and pray with our team tomorrow

INTERCESSOR NOTES

Your prayers for team members to come and pray have been heard.  Thank you. Again! Please lift up the individual team members.  It has been a summer of stretchy faith growth. Joy, Hallelujah. Plus a lot of questions for God with opportunities and needs. We see great increase in prayer impact as they walk in victory.

Please pray for the opportunity to highlight SVHR by preaching at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday August 20.

If the Lord gives you a word or scripture, or a sense, please text it in.  They are always such a blessing.

TO THE TEAM

Sending you God’s HOPE for all you are going through.  It probably feels like a lot He’s asking you to do lately.  That’s because He’s preparing all of us for what He’s about to do.  Whatever He’s asking of you, yes, YOU CAN DO IT. With Excellence.  He’s positioning and aligning.  Be infused with excitement that He’s working on the final details to an accelerated and awesome time when His glory will be on display. “Now may the God of hope fill you with ALL joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Romans 15:13.

Let heaven come down,
