SVHR OPEN HOURS are June 20 from 11am – 1pm and 7pm – 9pm

Visitors and Team Members both are enjoying our new home at

First Presbyterian Church of Santa Clara

2499 Homestead Rd. Santa Clara, CA

on the corner of San Tomas and Homestead

A new chapter has begun for Silicon Valley Healing Rooms in Santa Clara.  Visitors and Team Members alike shared an appreciation for our new home.  People came ready to hear from God and willing to do their part in receiving healing.  Team members initiated 7 of our Prayer Station Rooms with prayer appointments.  We are still on our learning curve, but it feels good to be praying for people once again.

People offered feedback on our first day in the new locaton. Below are some quotes for our visitors:

Q:  How was your experience today?

“It was wonderful and spiritual.”

“The Healing Rooms allowed me to ask God to forgive myself of my transgressions.”

“It was good.”

Q:  What did God do for you during your time at the Healing Rooms?”

“Jesus has restored the light of his Father in my heart and soul.”

“Released the pain in my thigh. The prayer gave me hope that my ailments would heal.”

“Released my feelings of resentment and unforgiveness and self-righteousness.”

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He has broken the gates of bronze,
And cut the bars of iron in two.

Fools, because of their transgression,
And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.
Their soul abhorred all manner of food,
And they drew near to the gates of death.
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He saved them out of their distresses.
He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions.
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving,
And declare His works with rejoicing.”

Psalm 107:15-22

They Bay Area is experiencing a heat wave that is scheduled to last about a week. The Healing Rooms will be open on day 5 on the heat wave.  Tuesday is estimated to be 87 degrees, down from 94 and before heading back into the 90’s for the remainder of the week.  This is 10-15 degrees above average temps for June. Please pray for patience and calm during the heat when tempers tend to rise with the temperatures.

THANK YOU for coming out on June 6.  There was a party atmosphere as people explored the new digs and got ready to bless one another.  It has been awhile since seeing everyone.  The move continues to be a process of updating, revamping, and adapting our materials as we settle in and learn about the facility and learning about the fit.  It has been a full and fun process.

Come out and pray as you can.  With the 4th of July Holiday falling on a Tuesday, our next Open Hours opportunity to pray won’t be until July 18.

Thank you all for your patience.

This has been a season of transition, alignment and threshold. Pentecost, a time to celebrate the Holy Spirit coming in power, is June 4, 2017. We open in our new location two days later.  We feel like we are walking through a new gate.  The team is excited and ready to pray again.

All are welcome.

If you have visited the Healing Rooms and received a word of healing blessing, stay with this word.  Keep speaking the word of God (scripture) over yourself, even if a symptom tries to return.  If God has spoken a word that you will be healed, then it will happen!

“Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.” Isaiah 46:11

“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22

“Those who regard lying vanities forsake their faithfulness, but I will sacrifice to thee with the voice of thanksgiving.” Jonah 2:8-9

“I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon me.” Isaiah 26:3

Thank you for your prayers during this time of transition.  We feel welcome in our new home.  We look forward to getting to know the people of our new church home.  The Spirit has been tugging at our hearts to prepare.  We looked at several venues which tried to meet our former size requirements. Our new home has room to grow.  We welcome the Lord’s direction as we move to His rhythm.

Thank you for your faithful walk through this season or transition and learning. We pray expectantly and excitedly.

There is great anticipation and joy as this year begins.  This country is getting a new President along with a new leadership team.  Heaven is also preparing for transition and Shift.  God has good things planned.  We declare in unison, “Let heaven come down.”

Inline image 2

One of the teams saw ahead of time a picture of the rose that wilted and lost its leaves in Beauty and the Beast.  In her vision, the rose was doing the opposite.  It was in fact rising up again and the leaves were springing up and attaching themselves.  The color returned and the rose came to life again. She said, “I think God wants to reverse the curse” on this person.  The appointment was powerful with God moving and addressing some of the circumstances in this woman’s life.

Note** When we heard this story, we felt God say this was symbolic of what He wants to do this year for many people.  As is with the nature of testimonies, we can take this story and pray it for ourselves and others.

The team saw, ahead of time the word, “Rejoice,” and Gal 6:9 which says “Do not lose heart.  In due time you will reap what you have sown.”  The other team member saw a small seedling in the snow and it grew to be a 5 foot tree that glows with a Holy Light.   They read Colossians 2:6 which talks about being rooted in Christ.  “Stand firm!  And be rooted in Christ.”  The woman that came for prayer had Stage 4 cancer and was greatly encouraged by these words.  The team listened and shared God’s heart for many things.  The woman left, despite the diagnosis, looking joyful and radiant.

A woman came in for prayer with cancer.  She has been in the battle for some time.  She has visited many doctors and is in the process of chemo.  She has also visited various Healing Rooms seeking prayer.  Each time she attended she learned some spiritual truths and applied them to her life.  She’s been concurrently working with “Doctor Appointments” and “God Appointments.”  She has been on a journey and a path to healing. The team validated the good spiritual things she has been doing in her life to give her peace with God and joy in the midst of following the medical steps. Despite all odds, she has been gaining strength physically and her faith has rapidly increased.

In Isaiah 46:11, God says, “Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass.  I have purposed it; I will also do it.”

It is time to go back and pull out the promises that God has spoken to you in the past.  Even those promises that seem impossible, and the ones that feel like it’s too late. Whatever verses He has whispered to your heart, it’s time to dust off the list and breathe life into them as this New Year starts.  If God has spoken it, He will bring it to pass.  If He has purposed it, He will also do it.

Bethel’s School of Healing & Impartation is This WEEK in Redding, Jan 18-20, 2017.  Bill Johnson and Randy Clark will be teaching.  Yes, you can still attend.  Two SVHR team members are attending, and some of our visitors will be attending.  We look forward to hearing the miracle stories and insights to prayer.

Christmas is upon us already! It is a season of preparation to usher in Jesus’ first coming to earth as a baby.  For the four advent Sundays, we light the advent wreath candles of Hope, Preparation, Joy and Love.

My church has been studying the book of Revelation.  My pastor considered taking the four weeks off to focus on Christmas themes of love, joy, peace, and birth at the manger.  However, pastor decided to stay in Revelation and considers it a study of the advent of Jesus’ second coming.  2016 continues to be a very different kind of year, and preparation study for Jesus’ next visit to earth.

So often we invite people back for more prayer and they come.  Many healings take time and prayer.  One woman starting coming 3 months ago. She says she is feeling much better since coming for the first time.  The teams continue to pray.  She continues to hold the words and pictures that they receive written out on 9×6 pieces of paper for her to  keep and pray over.  One team member had not seen her for three months.  They noted that she seemed more at peace and confident.  Praise God for what He does in building a solid foundation of love and truth in people.  He gives peace and confidence.

One prayer team member saw arrowroot starch in the pre-prayer time. The team members had to look up what arrowroot was on Google.  The Native Americans used arrowroot paste to put on the skin where arrows had gone into a body.  It helped pull the poison out and helped heal the skin.  Spiritually we prayed against the arrows of the enemy that had gone into this individual and asked God to remove the poison from the lies.  Google also revealed that arrowroot can be used as a thickener in cooking for those with glutton sensitivities.

D. L. writes, “God used the Prayer Team members to affirm God’s word to me today – to seek Him because of His great love for me.  They both reminded me of God’s promises to me for good from Jeremiah 29:11-15 and Song of Solomon 4:24-14 to sit with God.  Genesis 1:27 and 1 John 4:17.  God wants me to glorify Him and to rest in His love for me.  I appreciate the prayer team members’ love, kindness and prayers.  They were both very encouraging.  May God richly bless them both.”

This month of December offers us a time of laying a foundation in declarations for what God wants to do in our lives for 2017.  We can lay a foundation of blessing by declaring his good purposes over our lives, our ministries, our businesses, our families, and our communities.  We can pray these declarations as seeds of God’s word for 2017 that will sprout and grow into manifestation as the year unfolds.

Here are some Declarations we pray at  SVHR:

Silicon Valley Healing Rooms will be blessed in the name of Jesus

The Lord hears all our prayers and continues to answer them long after people receive prayer.

SVHR Prayer Ministers are established in the land they live in, in the name of Jesus.

Because the Prayer Ministers have made the Lord their refuge, and the Most High their dwelling place, no harm will come to the ministers who serve with Silicon Valley Healing Rooms, and no plague shall come near their homes.

Angels of the Lord will guard the prayer ministers in all their ways, in the name of Jesus.

The gifts and talents of the prayer ministers’ lives will be uncovered and developed as they serve and cause them to stand before the kings and queens in the name of Jesus.

The spiritual growth of the prayer ministers will continue to flourish in the name of Jesus.

Lord, you have said that our Healing Rooms will see many miracles and we come into agreement with what your prophets have spoken. Let it be so.

People’s lives will be forever changed as a result of receiving prayer in the name of Jesus

People will see and know You are God and there is none like you.  Nothing is impossible for God.

Silicon Valley Healing Rooms will be a place where people learn of God and give Him glory.

We gather tomorrow for Healing Room appointments.  Let us pray for the team members as well as all those who come for prayer.  May He accomplish all He wants to do tomorrow.  December can be a lonely time as people compare their lives to what they think a storybook Christmas should be. Let us ask God that our prayers will allow the Holy Spirit to comfort, exhort, bless, and heal all who come for prayer this month.

Let us pray believing He will do it.  Jesus’ compassion allowed him “to heal them all.”  He stayed through many a late hour to pray for every person who came to him for prayer.

“And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.” Luke 6:19

It’s been three weeks since we last met.  We come expecting to hear what God has been doing in all your lives.  He’s doing His part to prepare for tomorrow.  Let us add our part by coming ready to pray.  As you make the decision in your heart to come, He will nudge the hearts of those you will be praying for tonight and tomorrow to commit to coming.  As He knows you will be there, He will set up the divine appointments.  To His glorious partnership with each of you!

A prayer focus:  Action Plan for Thanksgiving

The Action Plan for Thanksgiving
Psalm 100 (NKJV)

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!

Serve the Lord with gladness

Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the LORD, He is God

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving

And into His courts with praise,

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name

For the Lord is good;

His mercy is everlasting

And His truth endures to all generations.”

Make a joyful shout.  Let us get our mouths in gear and Praise Him.  Say what we are thankful for. Start with Praise

Serve.    Let us find ways to serve the Lord.  Sometimes it’s just showing up to a difficult situation.  Sometimes, it’s finding a kitchen serving meals to the homeless.  Sometimes, it’s being inclusive by extending an invitation to join with another’s family.

Come before Him.  For some, this is easy and we can easily sing a song.  Others come to a Thanksgiving table and it’s the first time they’ve bowed their head for grace in a long time.  Coming before Him often requires us to face our stuff.  This little phrase might be difficult for some and we pray it is a literal time before God letting God do His cleansing work.  Find time to sing a song at some point during the day.

Know He is God Keep this knowledge that He is God who sits on the throne.  There is none before Him.  Because He has the whole world in His hands, we do not need to fear.  You may be the only one with this knowledge around the Thanksgiving table.  Let this knowledge permeate out of you (even silently) into the atmosphere all around.

God Made Us.  We did not have to make ourselves.  He did it.  He created each person with a unique gift package.  This truth doesn’t allow us to pretend we’re self-sufficient.  We need God and we need one another.  That’s God’s design plan.  Let us be thankful for the design plan God had in mind, no matter how far we or our family members have strayed.

Enter In  We can enter in to wherever we are at Thanksgiving with gratitude and thanksgiving in our hearts.  We enter His courts with praise.  The word courteous comes from the manner one was supposed to have in the “courts of the king.”  We can walk in a courteous fashion.  As kindness and courteousness goes out of vogue, the person who is courteous stands out like a welcome light in the dark world that craves approval and acceptance.

Bless God.  Giving God glory and credit for things that other people take for granted as just “nature” or “the way science is” can cause a person to recognize the Divine Creator behind the sunset or the changing seasons.

Truth Endures Let us be thankful that truth does endure to all generations.  Whether people admit certain truths or not, God is all about truth and what is true, lasts forever.  Let us be the reminders that God is good (so many forget this if they don’t like their circumstances.)  Let us rely on His mercy and loving kindness.  This is the truth of God’s character that last throughout the generations.  Let us look for the threads of His mercy in our families from generation to generation.

Operating in the Love of God and the Patience of Christ

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.”  2 Thessalonians 3:5 (NLT)

We may need the patience of Christ with some of our families.  Let the Lord provide this and show us how to express the love of God.

Let us Hold our Victory Place in the Journey with God

Family holiday time can let us revert back to feeling like our childhood selves.  All the victory we’ve gained in our maturity in Christ can go out the window with hone or two jabs from a sibling and there we are arguing the same argument we had 30 or 40 years ago.  It is time to (a) let go of old memories and keep our new position.  (b) to put a guard over our mouth (c) to bring our mature spiritual man with us to Thanksgiving.

Our Hope comes from God. God remains our hope with each President elected. Photo:

Our Hope comes from God. God remains our hope with each President elected. Photo:

Like many people, the votes on my ballot slate didn’t match the election results for my city, county, state or country.  Now what? Let us start by thanking God for our country and the freedom to vote.  Let us thank God for our fellow citizens.  Let us thank Him that He reigns above politics and continues to be seated on His throne.  Our prayers continue to be powerful and effective.  Our battle continues to wage against the principalities and powers.  Our weapons of prayer and the armor of God are still in place. Our position of strength comes from Jesus’ victory on the cross.

Our responsibility to pray for our leaders has not changed since the election.  We are to pray for kings and all who are in authority.  1 Timothy 2:2.  The election changes some of the names of those who are on our prayer lists.  Every leader needs supernatural wisdom in all their decisions.  There may be more reasons than ever to pray for the elected officials of our cities, our counties and our state and our nation. We might also pray for peaceful transitions and respect for the democratic process.

A vistor fo Silicon Valley Healing Rooms returned to share her story of what God did after we prayed. She took the time to share her journey with God in battling a doctor’s report and cancer concerns.

“In June 2016, I was rushed to ER in San Jose with extreme pain on my left abdomen and high fever 103 and extreme body aches & pain on my left back! I was treated for a kidney infection and a severe medical emergency called “Sepsis,” which could be deadly and lethal if they did not treat me and if I did not receive immediate medical attention.  Thank God they treated that kidney infection.  However, from CAT/CT scans of my whole body, the ER Doctors found that I had an abnormal mass on my left kidney that looked CANCEROUS and MALIGNANT!  The CT/CAT scan results were scary and devastating to just find out of nowhere that I could possibly have cancer in my kidney and I was only 37 years old!

I lost 15 pounds from dealing with the kidney infection, since I was so nauseous and vomited throughout my hospital stay of 6 days in the oncology department.  After I was discharged, I was on antibiotics and pain killers.  I was weak.  But I was to return in August 2016 to my kidney specialist/urology doctor to determine if my kidney mass was cancerous or not!  The long summer wait was stressful and nerve-wracking, but I came for prayer at the Healing Rooms in July 2016 for my kidney appointment/CT scan in hopes that abnormal mass was not CANCEROUS!  Thank God in August 2016, my CT scan results/kidney doctor determined it was not cancerous, and but I had surgery in September 2016 to remove the abnormal kidney mass!

Thank you Healing Rooms for your prayers and ministry!  God is Good!  No cancer in my kidney and my surgery to remove abnormal kidney mass in September 2016 was successful!”

Revelations 19:10 reads,  “And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.””

Our stories of healing are testimonies.  Our stories of faith are testimonies.  God’s action points in our lives become a truth that has living value.  Revelations calls it the spirit of prophecy.  The spirit of prophecy is a living force.  We carry this living power in our stories of our journey with Jesus and what He has done in our lives.  We release it when we share these stories.  The power of testimony allows God to work in someone who hears the story. The power of a testimony gives hope to those who are seeking God with their own requests.  We see God orchestrate our Healing Room appointment times, random to us, as to who arrives at whatever time, for His good purposes.  People who come with a particular request often end up in rooms with prayer team members who have gotten victory in that same area of healing.  God uses the power of His victorious action with people who need to know how to walk down that similar path for their lives.  Other people’s victory stories spark hope. Part of what we see happen in the Healing Rooms is watching people catch hope, and put their faith in God to go through whatever the challenge is. They leave believing God is with them, and that God can heal them. We also share our belief that God is a good God. This confidence carries them through till they see the answer in their own journey.

We gather tomorrow for Healing Room appointments.  Let us pray for the team members as well as all those who come for prayer.  May He accomplish all He wants to do tomorrow.

We already have one word for this Open Hours:  “Expectation.”  Let us pray expectantly.

“May God give you the power to accomplish all the good things that your faith prompts you to do.”  2 Thessalonians 1:10b NLT

Team, thank you for letting your faith prompt you to come to Healing Rooms.  Thank you for carrying out, with God’s power, all that your faith prompts you to do, in every area of your life. You are doing a great job of being His ambassadors.  Your stories inspire us all.  He is with you in all that you do, in great power.

Looking forward to seeing you all and hearing what He’s been doing in your lives.

Let us come together and see all that God does tomorrow in prayer!

With God, you get honesty and integrity.  There are no tricks to God’s program.  There may be a few twists and unexpected turns in life.  These do not take God by surprise.  They are all part of God’s divine plan for each life. His plan for you has a way out, a way through and a way over every obstacle.  By faith, we Praise God for all things, knowing that He is able to make everything work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.  Come and join the Silicon Valley Healing Rooms tomorrow as we gather to love God together, and call forth His good purposes for each person we pray for.

Young boy with Shofar Photo:

Young boy with Shofar

Cal Pierce shared the story from the Kids Healing Rooms in Kentucky.  A team of kids (ranging from 3 to 10) prayed for a women who came in for prayer about her migraines.  The adult supervisor had seen the sheet the woman had filled out and didn’t tell the kids what the issue was, but told them that they might want to keep their voices down to a whisper as they prayed for the woman.  (She had written that loud noises bothered her).  The woman entered and shared with the kids that she wanted prayer for her migraines.  The youngest girl on the team (age 3) said she felt God wanted them to blow the shofar.  She didn’t wait for an answer.  She left the room to go find where the Healing Room shofar was and brought it back into the appointment room.  One of the older boys knew how to blow it and he went right up to the woman receiving pray and blew it loud.  This is what they felt God wanted them to do.  After they blew the shofar, they all started laughing, and the woman joined in too.  They asked her how she felt.  She said she felt great.  She said when they blew the shofar on the one side of her head, the migraine went out the other side of her head through the ear.  And that was the last migraine she had.A woman came asking for prayer about wanting to trust God more.  The team prayed about this.  At some point they asked God to speak directly to her heart.  They waited.  The woman came back with a question.  “How big is your God?” As the woman thought about this, she started to focus on how big God is.  She was able to put each of her concerns in perspective to His power and abilities.  This awareness produced peace.  She left reminded of Psalm 91:9-10.  “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, ‘No evil shall befall you.  Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.’”

Cal and Michelle Pierce were in San Francisco this weekend.  They are the founders of International Association of Healing Rooms.  There were so many nuggets shared throughout the conference.  I will be sharing some of them with the team and in this newsletter over the next few months.

A thought is called a seed.  A seed of a new thought can get planted in us when we hear a sermon, study the Bible, have a dream, or receive prayer.  It is up to us to not toss the seed out with a contrary response such as “That can’t happen.”  Or, “It didn’t work.”

When a seed gets planted, it takes prayer to nourish the seed and increase the seed.  God may put an idea for a new book in a believer, but it takes effort and work to bring it forth.  God doesn’t usually plant an entire book inside an author.

With regards to healing, the “truth” of a healing seed has the “DNA” of healing.  A daisy seed when planted will grow a daisy, as will a carnation.  Seeds get watered by declaration.  So a person may receive prayer that “By His stripes you are healed.”  (Isaiah 53:5)The way this seed gets watered is by confessing this truth.  That means to say this truth out loud and to believe it.  If a person tests the new plant for fruit right away and doesn’t find any, they may conclude that there is no “truth” to this sentence for them. Some plants need to develop roots and they take time to produce fruit and be ready for a harvest.  But the seed planted has the DNA to be exactly the kind of plant that the seed is.  Expecting a pumpkin seed to produce a pumpkin right away is possible.  But it takes time to grow and develop and then become a pumpkin and turn the color of orange over time.  Our expectancy is based on what we know the DNA of that seed to be.  For a long time, it’s not based on what one can see.

So part of receiving healing is receiving the thought, the seed, of what the Bible says about healing and allowing that to grow and develop in our minds and hearts.  Our minds must be set on the DNA of the seed.  We have been given the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16. And with this mind, the Bible says, “It has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 13:11.  So keep asking.  Keep meditating on the truths in scripture.  Keep believing.  Keep open to the possibilities of heaven.  Let God show you what He is ready to reveal to you.

Meanwhile, let us believe the stories and testimonies of what God has already done.

We gather tomorrow for Healing Room appointments.  Let us pray for the team members as well as all those who come for prayer.  May He accomplish all He wants to do tomorrow.

Vote on Election Day 2016

Next week is the US national election.  Let us pray for peaceful elections.  Let us pray for God to nudge people to exercise their privilege to vote.  Let us pray for acceptance of what the people decide.  Let us pray for a peaceful transition.  Let us pray for peace for our country. You all hear so well from God. Keep praying as the Lord directs!TO THE TEAM

Thank you for your faithfulness in coming last Open Hours.  Let us prepare ourselves this week in prayer as we gather to pray for others.  Sometimes things get stirred up over Halloween, so people may be coming for prayer tomorrow.  Our God is in command and sees all things.  He hears all your prayers.  Tomorrow we join together in prayer with hearts of compassion to pray for many.  God honors this and shifts the atmosphere.  He works with the prayers of the saints.  May He bless all your homes this evening with grace and love. Halloween is a chance to give out blessings with treats of candy.

Thank God for Rain

It’s raining in California!  Yay.
Thank you Lord.  We are grateful.Let it rain in the spiritual realm over our state as well as in the natural.

A woman came in feeling stressed at work, sick with a cold and in a season of change.  The team heard ahead of time, “God is on your side,” which was comforting.  They referenced many good scriptures about God fulfilling His purposes.  Psalm 138:8.  Many times the appointments end with the team praying over the individual.  In this appointment, the woman herself heard God speak comfort and love to her directly. The appointment became personal statement of love from God. Everyone in the room was blessed.

One woman came in and the team received verses and a picture image of a rainbow.  The rainbow confirmed something the woman had also seen the previous week before the appointment. She felt the rainbow was a bridge to the cross over troubled waters of her circumstances. She felt she was going to get over her troubles and over to the other side. She had wondered if it was really from God.  She felt the Prayer Team Member’s picture image ahead of time was confirmation. The pain in her body lessened by the time she left the appointment.

Time to upgrade our  Shoes of Peace

Colossians 3:15  “Let the peace of God RULE in your hearts to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful.”

God’s power can break up our fears, turn our sorrow to joy, our frets to truth, disorder to order and chaos to calm.  His power is released in us through Praise.

Praise calls forth truth about God

Praise lets us get up again and stand upright in truths about God

Praise gives us the ability to trust God

Trust fuels thanksgiving

Thanksgiving activates peace

Peace gives us enough calm to hear God

Hearing God allows us to access to His wise counsel

Counsel of God tells us what to do, ways to accomplish it, and His timing

Peace is the material with which our (Armor of God) shoes are made.

Our shoes of peace enable us to walk forward.

“Be anxious for nothing.  In everything, with prayer and supplication, WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God, which surpasses comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. “Philippians 4:6-7

Thank you for your prayers. They continue to hold great power, even over the weather.

These last two weeks Hurricane Matthew hammered several Southern States.  My parents live in Hilton Head, South Carolina, 4 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.  The eye of the hurricane went right over Hilton Head Island.  The people who didn’t evacuate said it sounded like a loud freight train for 4 hours solid.  The evacuees weren’t allowed back for 5 days, till the following Wednesday.  Dad and Linda prayed before he evacuated that 4 angels would be positioned and protecting their home.  It looked like a war zone upon returning.  One of their oak trees uprooted with the root ball and fell over, but away from their house.  Other neighbors on their street had trees leaning against their houses, but didn’t break through.  Other parts of the island are a mess.  My stepmother’s co-worker had a boat in her yard, and the dock the boat had been attached to, was in the yard next door to the boat. All docks will need to be rebuilt. The churches had more attendees this Sunday.  Let us pray that the spiritual faith of all the residents will get cleaned up and rebuilt as the physical landscape gets cleaned up and rebuilt.

Keep praying as the Lord directs!

The Santa Cruz Training was Saturday October 8. Thank you for your prayers.  It went really well.  The faith in the room pulled out stories and examples that Holy Spirit brought to mind long after the Power Point slides were created. We have at least one new Intern, possibly more from the training. And a new Healing Room is launched which is wonderfully blessed with mature praying saints, and a powerful intercessor team.
