Healing Brings Change
There are a lot of reasons why people don’t get healed. The number one spot goes to unforgiveness. This roadblock to healing is a great place to explore. The healing process can include an opportunity to forgive everyone everything. Not forgiving people (even if they don’t deserve it) is a spiritual open door to physical ailments. There are things we can do that help keep us on the path of health and healing such as aligning our words with God’s words. Our words of faith definitely impact our healing process—positively. It also helps to take Communion, and seek relationship with the Healer along with seeking healing.

Like the formally blind man, healing came with changes. His parents didn’t want to talk about it because of the social risks. But the blind man talked about it, no matter the cost. He was healed. Talking about what God heals is part of God’s design plan. Most people want to get healed and go right back to what they were doing, and go right back to the way things were. They want to go right back to the way they were prior to the illness. In fact, being healed brings faith. It brings growth, it brings testimony, and it brings change. Is it possible that one of the reasons people don’t see more healing is that they aren’t willing to allow change into their lives? Are they willing to let more of God into their lives? Are they willing to talk about it? Even when it comes at a cost?
Jesus knew people would talk about their healing. In certain geographic regions of the land, He specifically told certain people to NOT talk about their healing. That went against the normal response. When people do share about their healing, are they willing to give God the glory? In modern times, the doctors, the hospital, the nursing staff, the medicine, or the operation often gets the credit for the remarkable change. It is rare that people say that prayer to a living God was the turnaround. God deserves the recognition for what He does. Is it possible that there could be more stories of healing if God got the credit? If people lift up the medical people or the medical process, and they don’t need God, does He intervene? Is He quietly present in the midst of all our modern medicine? And still performing miracles as a result of, or sometimes in spite of, all our modern processes. |
![]() Proverbs 3:6 reads, “In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths” (AMP). Acknowledging God’s role in our lives primes the pump to see more of God’s hand in our lives. That’s how faith works. Talking about faith and God’s role in our lives increases our awareness of how God is at work in all things. |
![]() A few verses later in Proverbs, acknowledging God is directly linked to health. “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts] and refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones” (Proverbs 3:7-8, AMP). |
Let’s activate more healing by stepping into the changes that healing brings, and being willing to share our story. Let’s give God the glory. Seeking stories of miracles and healing builds our faith for when life situations pull on the need for more faith. |
God Answers Prayer
Since our last Healing Rooms Open Hours:
![]() One woman’s stress level went from an 8 to a 1 during the appointment. Her experience was uplifting and energizing. He provided Words of knowledge, encouragement and divine strategy for a prayer request for an upcoming business situation. The woman left encouraged and grateful. |
![]() One woman came in with concerns about what the Lord was revealing to her about her past. Ahead of time, the team had received pictures about a ship at sea in a storm and dropping an anchor along with various verses. These images helped the woman feel the Lord was with her in her journey of discovery, even when it felt stormy. |
![]() One woman came in seeking prayer for the needs of her child. The team asked her about the answer to her previous visit a few months earlier, which had been about a financial need. She said, “Oh yeah, after that prayer time, I got three new clients and things have been good. Now I need….” The team stopped and gave thanks to God for answered prayer and then went on to pray about the current need. It builds faith to remind ourselves of answered prayer along the path of life, even as a new set of prayer requests might present themselves. |
The teams prayed for issues around anxiety, marriages, heart healing, strength to take action, wisdom, adult trauma, cancer, diabetes, God’s peace and strength, relief from fear and worry, high blood pressure, AFIB symptoms, low heartbeat, perseverance and endurance, life direction, whether to move or not, job changes, relationship with adult children, disagreements with neighbors, faith renewal, breakthrough in circumstances, counteracting witchcraft, workplace challenges, settling in to a new place to live, dealing with home repairs, caring for a loved one, financial breakthrough, sciatica, sleep disorders, and trauma relief.
