A TIME TO MEND
Like many people, the votes on my ballot slate didn’t match the election results for my city, county, state or country. Now what? Let us start by thanking God for our country and the freedom to vote. Let us thank God for our fellow citizens. Let us thank Him that He reigns above politics and continues to be seated on His throne. Our prayers continue to be powerful and effective. Our battle continues to wage against the principalities and powers. Our weapons of prayer and the armor of God are still in place. Our position of strength comes from Jesus’ victory on the cross.
Our responsibility to pray for our leaders has not changed since the election. We are to pray for kings and all who are in authority. 1 Timothy 2:2. The election changes some of the names of those who are on our prayer lists. Every leader needs supernatural wisdom in all their decisions. There may be more reasons than ever to pray for the elected officials of our cities, our counties and our state and our nation. We might also pray for peaceful transitions and respect for the democratic process.
GOD ANSWERS PRAYER
A vistor fo Silicon Valley Healing Rooms returned to share her story of what God did after we prayed. She took the time to share her journey with God in battling a doctor’s report and cancer concerns.
“In June 2016, I was rushed to ER in San Jose with extreme pain on my left abdomen and high fever 103 and extreme body aches & pain on my left back! I was treated for a kidney infection and a severe medical emergency called “Sepsis,” which could be deadly and lethal if they did not treat me and if I did not receive immediate medical attention. Thank God they treated that kidney infection. However, from CAT/CT scans of my whole body, the ER Doctors found that I had an abnormal mass on my left kidney that looked CANCEROUS and MALIGNANT! The CT/CAT scan results were scary and devastating to just find out of nowhere that I could possibly have cancer in my kidney and I was only 37 years old!
I lost 15 pounds from dealing with the kidney infection, since I was so nauseous and vomited throughout my hospital stay of 6 days in the oncology department. After I was discharged, I was on antibiotics and pain killers. I was weak. But I was to return in August 2016 to my kidney specialist/urology doctor to determine if my kidney mass was cancerous or not! The long summer wait was stressful and nerve-wracking, but I came for prayer at the Healing Rooms in July 2016 for my kidney appointment/CT scan in hopes that abnormal mass was not CANCEROUS! Thank God in August 2016, my CT scan results/kidney doctor determined it was not cancerous, and but I had surgery in September 2016 to remove the abnormal kidney mass!
Thank you Healing Rooms for your prayers and ministry! God is Good! No cancer in my kidney and my surgery to remove abnormal kidney mass in September 2016 was successful!”
HEALING TRUTH
Revelations 19:10 reads, “And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.””
Our stories of healing are testimonies. Our stories of faith are testimonies. God’s action points in our lives become a truth that has living value. Revelations calls it the spirit of prophecy. The spirit of prophecy is a living force. We carry this living power in our stories of our journey with Jesus and what He has done in our lives. We release it when we share these stories. The power of testimony allows God to work in someone who hears the story. The power of a testimony gives hope to those who are seeking God with their own requests. We see God orchestrate our Healing Room appointment times, random to us, as to who arrives at whatever time, for His good purposes. People who come with a particular request often end up in rooms with prayer team members who have gotten victory in that same area of healing. God uses the power of His victorious action with people who need to know how to walk down that similar path for their lives. Other people’s victory stories spark hope. Part of what we see happen in the Healing Rooms is watching people catch hope, and put their faith in God to go through whatever the challenge is. They leave believing God is with them, and that God can heal them. We also share our belief that God is a good God. This confidence carries them through till they see the answer in their own journey.
INTERCESSOR NOTES
We gather tomorrow for Healing Room appointments. Let us pray for the team members as well as all those who come for prayer. May He accomplish all He wants to do tomorrow.
We already have one word for this Open Hours: “Expectation.” Let us pray expectantly.

Team, thank you for letting your faith prompt you to come to Healing Rooms. Thank you for carrying out, with God’s power, all that your faith prompts you to do, in every area of your life. You are doing a great job of being His ambassadors. Your stories inspire us all. He is with you in all that you do, in great power.
